Głównym celem projektu został zdefiniowany jako zwiększenie efektywności energetycznej budynków Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego poprzez głęboką modernizację energetyczną. Cel ten zostanie osiągnięty dzięki wyznaczonym celom szczegółowym: - zmniejszenie emisji zanieczyszczeń do powietrza, - zmniejszenie zapotrzebowania ciepła na ogrzewanie, - zmniejszenie zużycia energii elektrycznej na oświetlenie, - zwiększenie komfortu termicznego użytkowników obiektów objętych projektem, - przeciwdziałanie ubóstwu energetycznemu. Przedmiotem projektu jest głęboka modernizacja infrastruktury Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego. Zakres projektu obejmuje: 1) W Bud. C4 Wydziały Prawa i Administracji przy pl. Ofiar Getta 4 i 5 w Rzeszowie: Moder. systemu wentylacji sali wykładowej (auli) - montaż wentylacji mechanicznej nawiewnowywiewnej z odzyskiem ciepła. Ocieplenie stropodachu dotychczas nieocieplonego i ścian zewnętrznych - po uprzednim odgrzybieniu i osuszeniu ścian piwnic oraz wykonaniu nowej izolacji przeciwwilgociowej ścian fundamentowych. Wymiana starych okien i drzwi zewnętrznych. Moder. syst. grzewczego i syst. oświetlenia. 2) W Bud. C5 Instytutu Archeologii przy ul. Siemieńskiego 17 C w Rzeszowie: Wymiana 2 szt. drzwi zewnętrznych starych oraz likwidacja 1 szt. drzwi zewnętrznych, wymiana starych okien na nowe. Ocieplenie ścian zewnętrznych po uprzednim wykonaniu izolacji przeciwwilgociowej ścian fundamentowych i stropodachu. Moder. oświetlenia wbudowanego. 3) W Bud. B1 Wydziału Pedagogicznego przy ul. Ks. Jałowego 24 w Rzeszowie Ocieplenie stropodachu, stropu pod nieogrzewanym poddaszem i ścian zewnętrznych po uprzednim odgrzybieniu i osuszeniu ścian piwnicy oraz wykonaniu nowej izolacji przeciwwilgociowej ścian fundamentów.
