Nyski County consists of 9 communes. The area is 122387 ha.Population per 31.12.2014 is 140193 people, including 72050K and 68143M. According to data, there were 182 children in foster families in the Nysa District in 2014, 100 children in care and educational institutions. The need to provide comprehensive support to children in foster care and to create the necessary conditions for integration into society will be possible through measures aimed at training skills in the performance of social roles, fostering independence and increasing educational attainment.Due to the extensive territorial area of PCPR activity in Nysa, especially beneficiaries of rural areas have difficulties in adapting to employment and limitations in access to basic institutional assets associated with health, culture, education and social assistance. Support within the project aims to strengthen the position of beneficiaries in the family, social environment, as well as on the labour market.Beneficiaries will be equipped with new vocational and social skills, which will contribute to improving their living situation. In view of children’s wellbeing and statutory provisions for reducing the number of children in institutional foster care, it is justified to create a family home for children as well as to carry out various campaigns promoting foster parenthood aimed at attracting candidates for foster care. Powiat Nyski tworzy 9 gmin. Powierzchnia to 122387ha.Ludność na 31.12.2014r. to 140193 osób, w tym 72050K i 68143M. Z danych wynika, że w Powiecie Nyskim w rodzinach zastępczych w 2014r.przebywało 182 dzieci,w placówkach opiekuńczo-wychowawczych 100 dzieci. Potrzeba objęcia kompleksowym wsparciem dzieci przebywających w pieczy zastępczej i stworzenia im niezbędnych warunków do integracji ze społeczeństwem będzie możliwa poprzez działania zmierzające do kształcenia umiejętności w zakresie pełnienia ról społecznych, wspierania samodzielności i wzrostu poziomu wykształcenia.
