Property / summary
The Po-MOC project for families provides complementary support to families facing care and parental problems, including the risk of the loss of childcare facilities, in accordance with the Act of 9 June 2011 on family support and foster care (Dz. Journal of Laws 2015, item 332) including by: family assistants (15 families), support families, consultation and specialised guidance, including legal/civil counselling, as a complementary action (mobile work by specialists, accompaniment in handling cases), therapy and mediation, organisation of family meetings aimed at exchanging experience and preventing isolation, called support groups or self-relief groups. We will support 30 families living in the municipality of Nysa with difficulties in meeting educational roles. The need for action stems from the upward trend of dysfunctional families on a multi-problem aspect — unemployment, poverty, violence, dependence, family breakdown, crime and lack of accessibility to quality social services in the region. through the support of specialists, parents rebuild their potential to serve as a carer and foster their social competences, regain a sense of control, and increase their motivation to change their situation, and their children will acquire the skills they need to be socially desirable. Participants will have the opportunity to follow the authority of the supportive family models, as well as within self-help groups, strengthen their sense of ownership and solidarity, mutual assistance and collaboration in addressing societal challenges. the project will be implemented in the municipality of Nysa (Opolskie Region). During the project implementation period, the applicant will maintain an office in Nysa, with the possibility to make full documentation of the implemented project available and provide the participants with a personal opportunity to come into contact with the project’s staff. Potrzeba realizacji działań wynika z tendencji wzrostowej dysfunkcjonalności rodzin w wieloproblemowym aspekcie - bezrobocie, ubóstwo, przemoc, uzależnienia, rozbicie rodzin, przestępczość oraz braku dostępności do wysokiej jakości usług społecznych w regionie.
