The project involves carrying out industrial research and development work on new technologies related to the possibility of providing advanced transmission services, distance sharing and storage of data, including medical data in the cloud service model, together with the creation of the potential of their analysis and search using cloud application mechanisms. Such a service would consist of providing the recipient with the required storage space. The service would be available at the same time to many recipients. In the intended service model, it would not involve reconfiguring the IT system architecture of the recipient, as it is assumed on the basis of ongoing preparatory and exploratory research that it is possible to construct, software and lend the client a “cloud storage applince” that plugged into the LAN and/or SAN of the service provider would provide him with scalable storage space available from the user interface. This cloud storage appliance is the result of the project. The aim of the project is to increase the innovativeness of the company, which will strengthen the competitive position of the company on the domestic market and highlight the international position and competitiveness (planned work on product innovation on a global scale). The surveys cover 7 steps (36 months in 2018-2021): analysis of the cost-effectiveness of cloud storage appiliance research, development of logical thinking design, communication interface and security system, and final execution of technical projects and prototype construction. The result of the project is to implement the results of the R & D work carried out in the applicant’s activities. Projekt polega na przeprowadzeniu badań przemysłowych i prac rozwojowych nad nowymi technologiami związanymi z możliwością świadczenia zaawansowanych usług transmisji, współdzielenia na odległość i przechowywania danych, w tym danych medycznych w modelu usługi chmury obliczeniowej wraz ze stworzeniem potencjału ich analizy i wyszukiwania z wykorzystaniem mechanizmów aplikacji chmurowej. Usługa taka polegałaby na dostarczeniu usługobiorcy wymaganej przestrzeni do składowania danych. Usługa była by dostępna jednocześnie dla wielu usługobiorców. W zakładanym modelu usługi dostarczenie jej nie wiązałoby się z rekonfiguracją architektury systemów IT usługobiorcy, gdyż zakłada się na podstawie prowadzonych działań przygotowawczych i badań rozpoznawczych, iż możliwe jest skonstruowanie, oprogramowania i wypożyczanie klientowi urządzenia „cloud storage applince”, które wpięte w siec LAN i/lub SAN usługobiorcy dostarczałoby mu skalowalnej przestrzeni dyskowej zarówno blokowej jak i plikowej dostępnej z poziomu interfejsu użytkowania tegoż urządzenia. Wspomniany cloud storage appliance jest przedmiotowym rezultatem projektu. Celem projektu jest wzrost innowacyjności firmy, dzięki któremu umocniona zostanie pozycja konkurencyjna przedsiębiorstwa na rynku krajowym i zaznaczona zostanie pozycja i konkurencyjność międzynarodowa (planowane prace dotyczą innowacji produktowej w skali światowej). Badania obejmują 7 etapów (36 miesiecy w latach 2018-2021): analizę opłacalności badań nad modelem cloud storage appiliance, opracowanie projektu logicznego myślenia, interfejsu komunikacyjnego oraz systemu bezpieczeństwa, a finalnie wykonanie projektów technicznych i budowę prototypu. Rezultatem projektu ma być wdrożenie wyników przeprowadzonych prac B+R w działalności wnioskodawcy. Dodatkowo efektem projektu jest objecie ochroną jego wyników czyli zgłoszenie patentowe i zgłoszenie wzoru użytkowego. (Polish)
