Przedmiotem zadania inwestycyjnego jest rozbudowa drogi wojewódzkiej DW 968, jako drogi klasy G jednojezdniowej, 2pasowej. Inwestycja zlokalizowana jest na terenie województwa małopolskiego, powiatu limanowskiego, gmina: Kamienica; miejscowość: Szczawa, Kamienica. Ponadto w ramach zadania inwestycyjnego planowana jest budowa skrzyżowań typu rondo na DW 968 w miejscowościach Mszana Dolna oraz Zabrzeż. Całkowita długość projektowanej trasy wynosi około 14 km. Oprócz wykonania rozbudowy DW 968 planuje się budowę 1 obiektu inżynierskiego na cieku krzyżującym się z drogą wojewódzką, budowęprzebudowę chodników, zatok autobusowych wraz z peronami, odwodnienia drogiPodstawowe parametry techniczne drogi po przebudowie: klasa techniczna: G obciążenie: 115 kN oś kategoria ruchu: KR 4 szerokość pasa ruchu: od 3,00 m do 3,50 m szerokość jezdni: od 6,00 m do 7,00 m ilość jezdni: 1 obustronne pobocza szerokości 1,25 m lub większa, jeśli zachodzi potrzeba lokalizacji urządzeń BRD szerokość chodnika przy krawędzi jezdni 2,0 m odwodnienie wraz z odprowadzeniem wody do odbiornikówDrogę DW 968 należy zaprojektować po istniejącym śladzie, uwzględniając pas terenu przeznaczony pod drogę oraz istniejące zagospodarowanie pasa drogowego i terenu przyległego. Trasa drogi objęta opracowaniem winna pokrywać się z osią jezdni istniejącej. Regulacji w planie sytuacyjnym podlegać będą łuki poziome.W projekcie zastosowano rozwiązania zwiększające bezpieczeństwo użytkowników ruchu: podświetlane znaki pionowe C9 z zasilaniem hybrydowym w tym zasilaniem ze stałego łącza, umieszczenie kostki płytek wyczuwalnych dla osób niedowidzących w rejonie miejsc przekraczania drogi, oświetlenie drogi w rejonie zatok autobusowych, oznakowanie poziome grubowarstwowe chemoutwardzalne.Dalszy opis w punkcie Q.
