The project involves the implementation of research and development work aimed at developing innovative, high-throughput optical modules ranging from 100 to 400 Gbps with its programming. The planned project covers, after 2, research phases in the framework of industrial research and development over a 36-month period, which is sometimes necessary and reasonable in the light of the research objectives pursued. As a result of the project, it is planned to receive products in the area of network equipment and data transmission which will provide a direct response to the current or future needs of the customers of Salumanus. The idea of the project stems from the need to break down the barriers and constraints that local PSI providers, operators, and telecom service providers meet. Current research shows that the demand for bandwidth increases even in the logarithmic field. This means that the customers of Salumanus must upgrade their networks without interruption and increase their capacity. R & D activities carried out in the applicant’s own laboratory and on purchased or rented equipment will permit the design and testing of prototype high-pass optical modules fully compatible with the available equipment on the market. The planned and tested prototypes will be innovative in terms of efficient use of the band, reduction of energy consumption, the possibility of remote servicing while preserving the price efficiency of the entire infrastructure. the project has at least a neutral impact on the implementation of the horizontal EU rules listed in Article 7 and 8 of the Regulation. 7 i 8 rozp. Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady UE nr 13032013 z dn. 17.12.2013 r. (Polish)
