Władysław Drapiewski, side altars and the main altar The project is a continuation of the previous conservation and restoration works carried out only from own resources by the parish and the contractor is one of the monuments maintenance studios in Lublin. It has now begun restoration and conservation work at the main altar, which will be completed during the implementation of the project. The project involves works that will make it fully restored and preserved and ready to receive more visitors in 2018. In addition, historic collections will be available through their digitisation on the internet, which will also strengthen the tourist attractiveness of the region in which the facility is located. After a complete restaurant, the church will be open to the public from 9.00 to 19.00, and on Saturdays and Sundays without time limit, it will also be ready to receive groups of schoolchildren for art lessons or history of the region and will become a venue for sacral-patriotic concerts and disabled people. In addition, as part of cooperation with an entity from the creative sector, a monograph on the history and monuments of the Church of St. Lorenzo in Poniatów, information folders for tourists, as well as radio broadcasts at the Catholic Radio of the Płock Diocese promoting the project, as well as videos on YouTube and the funpage on Facebook. Dążąc do wzmocnienia potencjału turystycznego Północnego Mazowsza i wzmocnienie atrakcyjności turystycznej tego regionu poprzez odrestaurowanie zabytku leżącego na Szlaku Turystycznym Obiektów Sakralnych na Mazowszu – Mazowieckim Szlaku Tradycji, projekt obejmuje prace restauratorskie i konserwatorskie w zabytkowym kościele św. Wawrzyńca w Poniatowie, który stanowi przykład drewnianej architektury zabytkowej na Mazowszu.Projekt zakłada prace, które obejmują zabytkowe wnętrze w całości drewniane, w tym malowidła ścienne pędzla prof. Władysława Drapiewskiego oraz ołtarze boczne i ołtarz główny Projekt jest kontynuacją dotychczasowych prac konserwatorsko-restauratorskich prowadzonych dotąd jedynie ze środków własnych przez parafię a wykonawcą jest jedna z pracowni konserwacji zabytków w Lublinie. Obecnie rozpoczęła ona prace restauratorko- konserwatorskie przy ołtarzu głównym, które zakończą się w czasie realizacji przedmiotowego projektu. Projekt zakłada prace, które spowodują iż będzie on w pełni odrestaurowany i zakonserwowany oraz gotowy do przyjęcia większej liczby zwiedzających w roku 2018. Ponadto zabytkowe zbiory dostępne będą przez ich digitalizację w internecie, co także wzmocni atrakcyjność turystyczną regionu w którym obiekt jest położony. Po całkowitej restauracji kościół będzie udostępniony dla zwiedzających od godziny 9.00 do 19.00, a w soboty i niedziele bez ograniczeń czasowych, będzie także gotowy do przyjmowania grup młodzieży szkolnej na lekcje sztuki czy historii regionu oraz stanie się miejscem koncertów o charakterze sakralno -patriotycznym i osób niepełnosprawnych. Ponadto w ramach współpracy z podmiotem z sektora kreatywnego planowane jest wydanie monografii dotyczącej historii i zabytków kościoła św. Wawrzyńca w Poniatowie, folderów informacyjnych dla turystów a także audycji radiowych w Katolickim Radio Diecezji Płockiej promujących projekt, podobnie jak filmy na YouTube i funpage'u na Facebook.
