The project includes the improvement of energy efficiency and environmental measures through the introduction of renewable energy systems in partner municipalities, including the execution of 104 installations for thermal energy generation and 408 installations for the extraction of electricity from RES in 6 rural communes of Mazowieckie voivodship, located in the Cichanowsko-Płockie subregion: Załuski, Kuczbork-Osada, Gozdowo, Zawidz, Rościszewo and Little Village. The project envisages using three types of installations: photovoltaic panels, solar collectors and biomass furnaces with a total power of 3.07 MW (including heat power with a total capacity of 1,25 MWt and electricity with a total capacity of 1.82 MWe). The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of renewable energy generation and reduce excessive emissions of pollutants into the air from combustion of conventional energy sources on farms and in public utilities, as a result of the start-up of installations allowing the generation from renewable sources of thermal energy of 891.7 MWht/year and electricity of 1 736.25 MWhe/year. The implementation of the project will result in a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 824.88 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year. Additional objectives will be achieved through intervention, such as reducing air pollution through higher efficiency systems and decommissioning individual sources, reducing the costs of heat and electricity by around 1.9 thousand final beneficiaries, as well as developing a positive “green” image. The project provides for information and promotion activities for environmental education, in particular in terms of energy efficiency. Thanks to the implementation of the project, energy from RES will allow to meet 71 % of the demand for electricity and heat generated by the group of final beneficiaries (sustainable). Projekt obejmuje poprawę efektywności energetycznej i działań prośrodowiskowych dzięki wprowadzeniu systemów energii odnawialnej na terenie gmin partnerskich, obejmująca wykonanie 104 instalacji do pozyskiwania energii cieplnej i 408 instalacji do pozyskiwania energii elektrycznej z OZE na terenie 6-ciu gmin wiejskich województwa mazowieckiego, położonych w subregionie ciechanowsko-płockim: Załuski, Kuczbork-Osada, Gozdowo, Zawidz, Rościszewo i Mała Wieś. (Polish)
