This project concerns the development of a prototype of an advanced painting machine using high-performance microstream technology (called “NOPM robot” from the “Nexio Oil Painting Machine”), its task will be to paint images on the basis of a digital file using a set of brushes of different thicknesses, using paints (oil, but also acrylic or other specialised) on a flat surface (canvas, terracotta, glaze, tiles, wallpaper). Thanks to the algorithms developed in the research, the NOPM robot will be able to move the brush in a way that imitates the movement of the human hand (different depending on the device specified by the operator of the effect or style of the graphics created), as well as select and mix paints to obtain any colour from the CMYK palette. It will be the first such device in the world. As a result of the implementation of the results of R & D works, the Company will offer customers a completely new service: the service of automatic reproduction of images, graphics, pictures, etc. by painting technique (i.e. by means of paint and brush). The recipients will be: companies providing printing and advertising services, art galleries and image reproduction shops, companies providing photographic services and companies involved in the production and/or trade of unique decorative products. The project, implemented in partnership with 2 scientific units, was divided into 8 research tasks: — Development of concept, model construction and testing of model painting module – Development of concepts, model construction and testing of a model mixing module – Development of concept, model construction and testing of model painting robot – Development in laboratory conditions of imaging algorithms – Design and execution of prototypes of functional modules of the system – Implementation of robot control algorithms in close to real conditions – Implementation of imaging algorithms in conditions similar to real-life environments (English)

W wyniku wdrożenia rezultatów prac B+R, Spółka zaoferuje klientom zupełnie nową usługę: usługę automatycznej reprodukcji obrazów, grafik, zdjęć etc. techniką malarską (t.j. za pomocą farby i pędzla). Odbiorcami będą: firmy świadczące usługi poligraficzno-reklamowe, galerie sztuki i sklepy z reprodukcjami obrazów, firmy świadczące usługi fotograficzne oraz firmy zajmujące się produkcją i/lub handlem unikalnymi wyrobami dekoracyjnymi. Projekt, realizowany w partnerstwie z 2 jednostkami naukowymi, podzielony został na 8 zadań badawczych: - Opracowanie koncepcji, budowa modelu i badanie modelowego modułu malującego - Opracowanie koncepcji, budowa modelu i badanie modelowego modułu mieszającego farby - Opracowanie koncepcji, budowa modelu i badanie modelowego robota malującego - Opracowanie w warunkach laboratoryjnych algorytmów przetwarzania obrazów - Zaprojektowanie i wykonanie prototypów modułów funkcjonalnych systemu - Implementacja algorytmów sterowania robotem w warunkach zbliżonych do rzeczywistych - Implementacja algorytmów przetwarzania obrazów w warunkach zbliżonych do rzeczywistych - Uruchomienie prototypu systemu malującego i jego (Polish)
