The project provides for the purchase of R & D services consisting of the development of a specialised electronic transducer of industrial communication protocols designed to convert data from the MODBUS bus into TCP protocol and vice versa. Bidirectionality is a significant aspect of the solution- data transmission is to be two-way and precise parsed in each direction. Entercom has been active in the IT sector since 1991. Due to the growing interest in the market for automation of production processes, the company is constantly looking for the best and the most affordable – also priced solutions to offer its customers. Comprehensive IT solutions require the use of different types of actuators, which operate on different communication protocols usually incompatible with each other. At present, there is not a solution on the market that is simple enough to be used on a large scale. The project therefore envisages the development of a universal solution – easy to adapt and affordable, which will be a decisive innovation in the industrial market. Due to the high time burden and the incomplete technological backdrop of attempts to create such a product, only conceptual outlines and the resulting initial price calculations have been developed. These assumptions, in consultation with the scientific unit in the implementation of the Project, will be developed and a prototype of such a device will be developed. The project also provides for the development of preliminary assumptions concerning the line for the production of the developed equipment. A real approach to the intention came only in the face of the possibility of joining the RPO-WM Competition and without EU funding it would not have been possible because Entercom did not anticipate investments in this area, taking into account mainly current activities and the emphasis on developing more in IT non-technological directions (English) | |||||||||||||||

Firma EnterCOM działa w sektorze IT od roku 1991.
