The project assumes the preparation of biogas technology capable of processing wiper and potato juice remaining after the production of starch and maltodextrin. The main objective of the project is to prepare a technological solution that will enable the management of significant quantities of liquid waste from potato processing for stable production of electricity, heat and soil enhancement throughout the year. Waste is only available during the campaign period, i.e. August-November. The scope of the project includes: 1. development of a technological solution enabling the storage of substrates for a period of the year in the form of wiper and potato juice 2. development of a technological and construction project possible to use solutions dedicated to the installation based on waste from the potato industry Target Group: undertakings producing potato starch, maltodextrins, starch, which have significant amounts of waste while reporting high energy demand. Stages of the project: Stage I – laboratory testing of juices and potato wipes to determine a method of inhibition of the fermentation process and a method of excitation of fermentation at the time of raw material demand. At this stage, a biogas laboratory with possibilities for continuous fermentation will be used. The stage ends with the preparation of assumptions for the design of technological solutions ensuring stable operation of a biogas plant based on waste materials. Laboratory tests and computer simulations will be used at this stage. Research work will be supported by specialist literature. Stage II – the development of the project concept together with the technological and construction project Stage ends with the preparation of a project consisting of a descriptive technology for the use of waste from the potato industry for energy purposes. At this stage, computer design and simulations will be used (English) | |||||||||||||||
