In the framework of the ‘Sunflower’ project the installation of 381 units of solar water heating installations and 78 units of photovoltaic installations for individual consumers, having their own property in the City of Radzyń Podski. In addition, activities are planned with regard to investor supervision, sound project management and project promotion. the primary aim of the project is to replace existing electricity and heat from fossil raw materials with the production of renewable energy. The additional objectives of the project are to: reducing greenhouse gases and CO2 emissions, improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the city, increasing the attractiveness of the site and improving the quality of the environment. Among stakeholders can we distinguish between two, the most interested audiences, i.e. the inhabitants of the city where the installation will be installed and the City Hall which also initiates the changes. The secondary groups to:pozostali city dwellers, tourists and visitors to the city, the designer and the contractor of the installation. According to the order of the Mayor of Radzyn Podlaski, the project does not require a decision on environmental conditions, as it does not qualify for projects likely to have significant effects on the environment. In addition, the project will be carried out away from Natura 2000 sites and will therefore not adversely affect the protected areas. Nor does the project require the development of air quality programmes, since no standards have been exceeded on the investment site. The project is part of the objectives of the air quality programme by reducing emissions of pollutants. The project will result in an additional renewable energy generation capacity of 1.59723 MW in 2018 and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of more than 30 % and production of 221,99 MWhe/year of electricity and 681,59 MWhe/year of thermal energy.
