The main objective of the project is to improve the natural environment in the municipality of Aleksandrów Łódzki, in particular to improve the quality of atmospheric air. Implementation of the project “Termomodernisation of housing resources in the Aleksandrów Lodz Municipality” will consist of carrying out thermal modernisation works with the use of Renewable Energy Sources, in 104 buildings. The scope of the investment includes: modernisation of the central heating system and central heating system – installation of heat pumps, warming of external walls with a polystyrene layer (26675 m²), warming of ceilings, exchange of doors and windows, modernisation of gravity ventilation. The project is aimed at increasing energy efficiency in the housing sector, which will significantly reduce energy consumption and thus reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere. The project is aimed at people living in municipal and social resources of the commune (approximately 999 people). Thanks to the thermal modernisation, it will be possible to reduce the costs of maintaining housing resources, increase the comfort of use of buildings and improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the region. The use of heat pumps will increase the share of energy from renewable sources. The implementation of the project in accordance with the planned scope will contribute to the increase of citizens’ awareness of the possibilities of saving energy and the use of RES. The total primary energy consumption at present is 10502088.89 kWh/year. As a result of the implementation of thermo-modernisation measures, this value will be 789138.89 kWh/year. According to the above, the working primary energy consumption will be reduced by 9712950,00 kWh/year. Moreover, the implementation of the project will also contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions of carbon dioxide by 3 241.76 MgCO2/year, or 95.44 %, as follows: CO2: before modernisation 3 505.14 MgCO2/year, after modernisation of 263,38 MgCO2/year. Realizacja projektu zt. „Termomodernizacja zasobów mieszkaniowych w Gminie Aleksandrów Łódzki” polegać będzie na przeprowadzeniu prac termomodernizacyjnych wraz z zastosowaniem Odnawialnych Źródeł Energii, w 104 budynkach. Zakres inwestycji obejmuje : modernizacje systemu c.o. oraz c.w.u. – montaż pomp ciepła, ocieplenie ścian zewnętrznych warstwą styropianu (26 675m2), ocieplenie stropodachu, wymianie drzwi i okien, modernizacje wentylacji grawitacyjnej.
