The project assumes the construction and commissioning of a new R & D Centre for modern prototyping and evaluation of innovative medical technologies for spine surgery at LFC sp. z o.o.. The Centre will be a new element of the company’s infrastructure and organizational structure. The Centre will consist of four specialised laboratories for prototyping based on the know-how of surgical technologies using modern methods and research equipment and software. Implementation of the investment will be supported by 27 years of LFC business experience and is dictated by market development needs. The material scope of the investment will include: 1)construction of a separate building with laboratory and technical rooms, 2)equipment with newly purchased modern, necessary equipment and research software, 3) launching and promotion. The implementation of the project results from the need to adapt to the tightening requirements of the European Union concerning medical devices and internal development needs of the company requiring intensification of its own research activities. The practical effect of the investment will be to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of LFC’s competition on the market at least with a European reach by, inter alia, shortening the development/research phase of new or modified surgical technologies with a safe spinal implant by approx. Projekt zakłada budowę i uruchomienie w LfC sp. z o.o. nowego Centrum badawczo-rozwojowego nowoczesnego prototypowania i ewaluacji innowacyjnych technologii medycznych dla chirurgii kręgosłupa. Centrum będzie stanowiło nowy element infrastruktury oraz struktury organizacyjnej spółki. W skład Centrum wejdą cztery specjalistyczne laboratoria do prototypowania na podstawie know-how technologii chirurgicznych z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnych metod oraz aparatury i oprogramowania badawczego. Wdrożenie inwestycji będzie wspierane 27-letnim biznesowym doświadczeniem LfC i jest dyktowane potrzebami rozwojowymi rynku. Zakres rzeczowy inwestycji obejmie: 1)budowę odrębnego budynku z pomieszczeniami laboratoryjnymi oraz technicznymi, 2)wyposażenie w nowo zakupioną nowoczesną, niezbędną aparaturę i oprogramowanie badawcze, 3)uruchomienie i promocję. Realizacja projektu wynika z konieczności dostosowania się do zaostrzających się wymogów Unii Europejskiej dotyczących wyrobów medycznych oraz wewnętrznych potrzeb rozwojowych firmy wymagających intensyfikacji działań własnych - badawczych. Efektem praktycznym inwestycji będzie zwiększenie efektywności i skuteczności konkurowania firmy LfC na rynku co najmniej o zasięgu europejskim poprzez m.in. skrócenie czasu opracowywania/fazy badawczej nowych lub zmodyfikowanych technologii chirurgicznych z bezpiecznym implantem kręgosłupowym o ok. 2 lata.
