The project envisages the expansion and extension of the range of educational offer of the ecological education centre and the construction of a pedestrian footbridge at the Bystrzycki Lake. The project plans to: demolition of the old and construction of a new footbridge on the Bystrzycki Lake along with elements of ecological education, reconstruction and equipment of the Grodno Castle and the creation of a Multimedia Bioeducation Centre as part of an ecological education centre, the development of an eco-education centre about the Centre for Bioeducation and Service of Tourism Movement, together with the creation of an aquarium with fauna and flora of the Bystrzycki Lake. The project also includes informational and promotional activities (tables: souvenir – 1 pcs, information 1 pieces, information about the project on the website of the Applicant). The planned investment will improve the organisation of tourist traffic in the municipality of Walim and reduce the pressure of its impact on natural valuable areas, by building a footbridge in the vicinity of the Bystrzycki Lake. The expansion and extension of the offer of an eco-education centre operating in the commune will increase the ecological awareness of tourists and the local community. These measures aim to increase the availability of local natural resources and, at the same time, to increase biodiversity protection in the Wa³brzych Agglomeration. The project will also have a positive impact on the situation of the municipality’s inhabitants and will contribute to reducing the unemployment rate in the region as a result of its implementation 4 new jobs will be created. The investment will also have a positive impact on the development of tourism in the municipality of Walim and the creation of new companies operating in the area of tourism, and thus on the sustainable economic development of the region.     Projekt zakłada rozbudowę i poszerzenie zakresu oferty edukacyjnej ośrodka edukacji ekologicznej-Turystyczne Centrum Edukacji Ekologicznej „Choina” oraz budowę kładki pieszej nad Jeziorem Bystrzyckim. W ramach projektu zaplanowano: rozbiórkę starej i budowę nowej kładki dla pieszych nad Jeziorem Bystrzyckim wraz z z elementami ścieżki edukacji ekologicznej, przebudowę oraz wyposażenie pomieszczeń Zamku Grodno i utworzenie Centrum Bioedukacji Multimedialnej w ramach ośrodka edukacji ekologicznej, rozbudowę ośrodka edukacji ekologicznej o Centrum Bioedukacji i Obsługi Ruchu Turystycznego wraz z utworzeniem akwarium z fauną i florą Jeziora Bystrzyckiego. Projekt zakłada też działania informacyjne i promocyjne (tablice: pamiątkowa-1 szt, informacyjna-1 szt, zamieszczenie informacji o projekcie na stronie internetowej Wnioskodawcy). Projektowana inwestycja wpłynie na poprawę organizacji ruchu turystycznego na terenie Gminy Walim i zmniejszenie presji jego oddziaływania na obszary cenne przyrodniczo, poprzez budowę kładki dla pieszych w okolicy Jeziora Bystrzyckiego. Rozbudowa i poszerzenie oferty funkcjonującego na terenie gminy ośrodka edukacji ekologicznej przyczyni się do wzrostu świadomości ekologicznej turystów i lokalnej społeczności. Działania te mają na celu zwiększenie udostępniania lokalnych zasobów przyrody i jednocześnie wzrost ochrony bioróżnorodności na terenie Aglomeracji Wałbrzyskiej. Projekt wpłynie też pozytywnie na sytuację mieszkańców gminy i przyczyni się do zmniejszenia stopy bezrobocia w regionie, gdyż w wyniku jego realizacji utworzone zostaną 4 nowe miejsca pracy. Inwestycja będzie też pozytywnie oddziaływać na rozwój turystyki na terenie Gminy Walim i powstawanie nowych firm działających w obszarze turystyki, a poprzez to na zrównoważony rozwój gospodarczy regionu.
