The object of the project is the purchase of research equipment for the operational laboratory of AKO, the development of a laboratory. With the equipment purchased it will be possible to carry out the R & D work towards the development of new, innovative products and a process that will then be put in place for production. It will thus be able to diversify the company’s activities and strengthen its competitiveness. in response to the needs of the market, AKO’s research unit plans to face new technological challenges and carry out research and development in the areas of:• ice-cream with higher content of protein and non-sugar ice,• biscuit concentrates with a higher health value,• croissants enriched with mineral substances,• the new technology to add flavours to liquid bulk materials. All the above products and processes respond to the needs of consumers who increasingly pay attention to the quality of the products consumed. The higher protein content of the diet, the reduction in calorific value of table products, additives such as mineral compounds and fibre is all the less important for the consumer who cares for health and is clearly part of the RIS, including in the “Healthy and safe food”. to enable the present studies to be carried out, AKO would be required to upgrade the R & D centre of the AKO and adapt the existing facilities in order to adapt it to the new facilities. The planned R & D work is described in the Research Agenda. (English)

    Przedmiotem projektu jest zakup aparatury badawczej do funkcjonującego laboratorium Badawczo - Rozwojowego firmy AKO – rozwój laboratorium. Dzięki zakupionym urządzeniom będzie możliwe przeprowadzenie prac B+R w kierunku opracowania nowych, innowacyjnych produktów oraz procesu które następnie zostaną wdrożone do produkcji. Tym samym możliwe będzie zdywersyfikowanie działalności firmy i wzmocnienie jego konkurencyjności.Odpowiadając na potrzeby rynku, dział badawczy firmy AKO planuje stawić czoła nowym wyzwaniom technologicznych i prowadzić prace badawczo – rozwojowe w zakresie:• lodów o wyższej zawartości białka oraz lodów bezcukrowych,• koncentratów ciastkarskich o wyższych walorach prozdrowotnych,• rogalików wzbogaconych w związki mineralne,• nowej technologii pozwalającej dodawać aromaty w płynie do surowców sypkich. Wszystkie wymienione powyżej produkty i proces odpowiadają na potrzeby konsumentów, którzy coraz bardziej zwracają uwagę na jakość spożywanych produktów. Wyższa zawartość białka w diecie, obniżenie kaloryczności produktów deserowych, dodatki takie jak związki mineralne czy błonnik – to wszystko ma niemałe znaczenie dla konsumenta dbającego o zdrowie i niewątpliwie wpisuje się RIS, m.in. w „Zdrową i bezpieczną żywność”.Aby możliwie było przeprowadzenie niniejszych badań konieczne jest doposażenie centrum B+R firmy AKO oraz przeprowadzenie prac adaptacyjnych istniejącego zaplecza, w celu przystosowania go do nowych urządzeń. Planowane prace B+R zostały opisane w Agendzie badawczej. (Polish)
