The project assumes the implementation of high-quality professional internships for graduate students (the third year of first degree studies and second year of second-cycle studies) in Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Lublin. Traineeship programmes will cover at least 30 % of students/years of each year included in the project. At least 10 % of the participants/workouts of the project will participate in foreign internships carried out in companies from the chemical industry from selected EU countries. The project aims to improve the competences of those participating in higher education, responding to the needs of the economy, the labour market and society. The high quality of traineeships will be ensured, inter alia, by: comprehensive analysis of enterprises- potential employers (e.g. business profile, working conditions, possibility of acquiring specific experience); the signing of 3-party traineeship contracts, specifying the rights and obligations of each party; formulating traineeship programmes, complementary to knowledge and skills acquired in the course of studies; the choice of traineeship guardians by the employer; ongoing monitoring and evaluation of traineeships; issuing certificates on completion of the traineeship and the employer’s opinions about the trainee. Traineeships will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Council Recommendation of 10 March 2014 on the quality framework for traineeships (2014/C 88/01). The project will significantly increase the professional competencies of students/graduates in the field of Chemistry. The professional experience gained during a 3- or 5-month traineeship will enable graduates to enter the labour market efficiently, increasing their competitiveness and their chances of finding stable employment. Wysoka jakość staży zostanie zapewniona m.in. poprzez: kompleksową analizę przedsiębiorstw- potencjalnych pracodawców (m.in. profil działalności, warunki pracy, możliwości nabycia określonego doświadczenia); podpisywanie 3-stronnych umów stażowych, określających prawa i obowiązki każdej ze stron; formułowanie programów stażowych, uzupełniających wiedzę i umiejętności nabyte w toku studiów; wybór opiekunów staży ze strony pracodawcy; bieżący monitoring i ewaluację staży; wydawanie zaświadczeń o ukończeniu stażu oraz kart opinii pracodawcy o stażyście.
