Efektem projektu będzie zapewnienie dostępu do Internetu dla 20 796 gospodarstw domowych oraz 336 jednostek edukacyjnych zlokalizowanych na obszarze nowosądeckim część A. Zadaniem projektu jest wyeliminowanie terytorialnych różnic w możliwości dostępu do szerokopasmowego Internetu o wysokich przepustowościach poprzez zapewnienie dostępu do usług Społeczeństwa Informacyjnego mieszkańcom i placówkom publicznym oraz zapewnienie dostępu do infrastruktury i usług hurtowych.
