The project addresses the significant problem of annual, almost complete losses in breeding of ornithofauna species considered to have been killed, entered on national and European red lists and protected by the Birds Directive. Equally important concerns the population of the most important in the western half of the country. This dramatic situation results from traces of nesting habitats. Chicks die there as victims of invasive alien species: American mink and raccoon or as a result of fluctuations in the Oder water level. The project consists of creating a system of safe breeding sites ensuring successful incubation and progeny of at least 4 species: oysters, white-fronted terns, river rivers and r. black. Indirectly, other species that nest in the vicinity will also benefit from the project. Geographically, the project will be carried out in eight areas stretched along the Oder trough from the Cybinka gm in Lubuskie to Gm. Cedynia in Zach-pom voivodship. Technical scope of the project: 1. Floating islands. Assembly of three imitating natural islands, large floating platforms (as a breeding ground for river terns and oysters), each with an area of about 100 m² and two smaller platforms (as a breeding ground for white-fronted terns) with an area of approx. 40 m². 2. Mats for marsh terns. Installation of 120 floating cane mats. Reinforced by a frame of the mat (3x3 meters and a thickness of about 20 cm) will form a floating goat, which the mud terns (of the genus Chlidonias) seek as the basis for the founding of the colony in spring. 3. Recreation of wetlands. Earthworks allowing periodic maintenance of water on vast river meadows. 4. “Bagnas are beautiful”. Educational action to raise awareness of the value of the wetlands. All actions are eligible costs. (English)

Cybinka w woj. lubuskim do gm. Cedynia w woj. zach-pom. Zakres techniczny projektu: 1. Umocnione stelażem maty (3x3 metry i grubości około 20 cm) będą tworzyć pływający kożuch, któryego rybitwy błotne (z rodzaju Chlidonias) poszukują wiosną jako podstawę do założenia kolonii. 3. „Odtwarzenie mokradeł”. Prace ziemne umożliwiające okresowe utrzymanie wody na rozległych, nadrzecznych łąkach. 4. „Bagna są piękne”. Akcja edukacyjna podnosząca świadomość o wartości nadodrzańskich mokradeł. Wszystkie działania są kosztami kwalifikowalnymi. (Polish)
