Przedmiotem projektu jest budowa dwutorowej linii elektroenergetycznej wysokiego napięcia 400kV o długości 110 km (220 km sieci prądowej) na odcinku Ostrołęka - Stanisławów. W tym odcinku zostanie wybudowana jedna stacja 400 (220)/110 kV Wyszków i rozbudowane dwie stacje: 400/220/110 kV Ostrołęka oraz 400 kV Stanisławów. Celem Projektu jest poprawa pewności i bezpieczeństwa pracy Krajowego Systemu Elektroenergetycznego w północno-wschodniej części Polski, poprawa pewności zasilania aglomeracji warszawskiej oraz sieci 110 kV Pośrednim celem Projektu jest: a) stworzenie warunków do zwiększenia możliwości wymiany energii elektrycznej z litewskim systemem elektroenergetycznym przy zapewnieniu bezpiecznej pracy tego połączenia b) stworzenie warunków do wyprowadzenia mocy z konwencjonalnych i odnawialnych źródeł energii (Polish)
