The project is aimed at improving the operation of traffic on line 93, adapting the railway line to the interoperability requirements of the trans-European rail system forming part of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T), with: • On the Trzebinia – Oświęcim section, i.e. on the section of line No. 93 from km 0.700 to km 24.053 (track no. 1) and to km 24.017 (track No. 2), modernisation of the track system, reconstruction of the overhead contact line and equipment of srk and technical infrastructure of other industries, including reconstruction of the engineering facilities, is planned. • On the section of Oświęcim – Czechowice Dziedzice, i.e. on the section of line No. 93 from km 24.053 (track No 1) and from km 24.017 (track no. 2) to km 44.950, rehabilitation works are planned to restore the original construction parameters of the railway line together with the introduction of new technological solutions. • at the Auschwitz station, it is foreseen to correct the track layout with the adaptation of the devices of the srk and the technical infrastructure of other industries. The Project envisages: • modernisation of 3 stations and 7 stops; • reconstruction of 8 bridges and 17 viaducts; • Reconstruction of 3 pedestrian crossings. • purchase of land necessary for the reconstruction of road viaducts.     Przedmiotem Projektu jest usprawnienie prowadzenia ruchu w ciągu linii 93, dostosowanie linii kolejowej do wymogów interoperacyjności transeuropejskiego systemu kolejowego wchodzącej w skład transeuropejskiej sieci transportowej (TEN-T), przy czym: • na odcinku Trzebinia – Oświęcim, to jest na odcinku linii nr 93 od km 0,700 do km 24,053 (tor nr 1) i do km 24,017 (tor nr 2) przewiduje się prace modernizacyjne zakładające niewielkie korekty układu torowego, przebudowę sieci trakcyjnej oraz urządzeń srk i infrastruktury technicznej pozostałych branż wraz z przebudową obiektów inżynieryjnych. • na odcinku Oświęcim – Czechowice Dziedzice, to jest na odcinku linii nr 93 od km 24,053 (tor nr 1) oraz od km 24,017 (tor nr 2) do km 44,950 przewiduje się prace rehabilitacyjne mające na celu przywrócenie pierwotnych parametrów konstrukcyjnych linii kolejowej wraz z wprowadzeniem nowych rozwiązań technologicznych. • na stacji Oświęcim przewiduje się korektę układu torowego z dostosowaniem urządzeń srk i infrastruktury technicznej pozostałych branż. W ramach Projektu przewiduje się: • modernizację 3 stacji i 7 przystanków osobowych; • przebudowę 8 mostów i 17 wiaduktów; • przebudowę 3 przejść dla pieszych. • wykup gruntów, niezbędnych dla przebudowy wiaduktów drogowych.
