The subject of the project is the modernisation of the railway line No. 7 on the Otwock – Lublin section (from 26.050 km to 175.850 km), together with work on the travelling line no.30 on the Łuków-Parczew section and preparation of project documentation for the section Warszawa Wschodnia – Otwock. The implementation of the investment provides for: remodeling of the tracks (the second track’s good on pc. Otwock-Pilava, easing arches), modernisation, reconstruction and construction of new engineering facilities: bridges, viaducts, culverts, pedestrian crossings, replacement of overhead and traffic control systems (computer controlled), construction of animal crossings, reconstruction of platforms and their equipment, construction of traffic control system, construction of acoustic screens, renovation of the drainage system of the railway line. In addition, in order to provide a touring route for trains during the modernisation of railway line No. 7, the project and construction works on the Łuków-North Lublin railway line on the Łuków-Parczew section were planned. Przedmiotem projektu jest modernizacja linii kolejowej nr 7 na odcinku Otwock – Lublin (od km 26,050 do km 175,850), wraz z pracami na linii objazdowej nr 30 na odcinku Łuków – Parczew i przygotowaniem dokumentacji projektowej dla odcinka Warszawa Wschodnia – Otwock. W ramach realizacji inwestycji przewiduje się: przebudowę torowisk (dobudowę drugiego toru na odc. Otwock-Pilawa, złagodzenie łuków), modernizację, przebudowę oraz budowę nowych obiektów inżynieryjnych: mostów, wiaduktów, przepustów, przejść dla pieszych, wymianę sieci trakcyjnej i urządzeń sterowania ruchem (na sterowane komputerowo), budowę przejść dla zwierząt, przebudowę peronów i ich wyposażenia, budowę układu sterowania ruchem, budowę ekranów akustycznych, odnowienie systemu odwodnienia linii kolejowej. Dodatkowo w celu zapewnienia trasy objazdowej dla pociągów w trakcie modernizacji linii kolejowej nr 7 zaplanowano do realizacji prace projektowo-budowlane na linii kolejowej nr 30 Łuków-Lublin Północny na odcinku Łuków-Parczew.
