    Przedsięwzięcie polega na budowie obwodnicy Nowego Miasta Lubawskiego w ciągu dk 15 o parametrach drogi klasy GP o łącznej długości 17,73 km. Przedmiotowa obwodnica przebiega po nowym śladzie po wschodniej stronie miasta Nowe Miasto Lubawskie. Na projektowanej obwodnicy m. Nowe Miasto Lubawskie w ciągu drogi krajowej nr 15 przewidziano przekrój jednojezdniowy z dodatkowym pasem o układzie 2+1. Zaprojektowane w ramach przedmiotowej inwestycji skrzyżowania typu rondo, umożliwiają bezpieczną komunikację i rozprowadzenie ruchu po pozostałej sieci drogowej oraz obsługę przyległego terenu poprzez sieć dróg dojazdowych.
