The construction of a network of public Internet access points in Wiśniewo commune will take place within the framework of Measure 1.1 of the Operational Programme Digital Poland. Wiśniewo commune intends to obtain funding for this task, which will be used by this application, which will present basic assumptions for the planned network of public Internet access points in the municipality.The Wiśniewo commune aims to promote free wireless Internet access in public spaces, such as parks, squares, public buildings, libraries, health centres and skylights in its area. This will make it possible to implement a support programme for the provision of high-quality Internet access to residents and guests in local public life. Local wireless connectivity, provided free of charge and on non-discriminatory terms, will contribute to reducing the digital divide, especially in rural areas, in communities with less developed infrastructure.The network of free public Internet access points will improve access to online services that improve the quality of life of local communities by facilitating access to services such as eHealth and eGovernment; enabling the creation of new offers for digital inclusion, e.g. computer and Internet courses; the planned public Internet access network within the Wiśniewo commune will be implemented with full fulfillment of the requirements for WiFi, which is attached to the rules of the competition. In particular, end-user free of charge, use of broadband technologies, speed of data, quality and access opportunities in local public life, including external spaces accessible to the general public. Budowa sieci publicznych punktów dostępu do Internetu w gminie Wiśniewo odbywać się będzie w ramach działania 1.1 Programu Operacyjnego Polska Cyfrowa. Gmina Wiśniewo zamierza pozyskać dofinansowanie na zrealizowanie tego zadania czemu służyć ma niniejsza aplikacja, w której przedstawione zostaną podstawowe założenia dla planowanej sieci publicznych punktów dostępu do Internetu na obszarze gminy.Gmina Wiśniewo stawia sobie za cel wspieranie bezpłatnego dostęp do bezprzewodowego Internetu w przestrzeniach publicznych, takich jak parki, place, budynki publiczne, biblioteki, ośrodki zdrowia i świetlice na jej obszarze. Dzięki temu możliwy stanie się do realizacji programem wsparcia na rzecz zapewnienia dostępu do Internetu wysokiej jakości mieszkańcom i gościom w miejscach lokalnego życia publicznego. Lokalna łączność bezprzewodowa, świadczona bezpłatnie i na niedyskryminujących warunkach, przyczyniać się będzie do zmniejszania przepaści cyfrowej, zwłaszcza na obszarach wiejskich, w społecznościach o słabiej rozwiniętej infrastrukturze.Sieć darmowych, publicznych punktów dostępu do Internetu poprawi dostęp do usług online, podnoszących jakość życia społeczności lokalnych poprzez ułatwianie dostępu do usług, na przykład e-zdrowia i e-administracji; umożliwiających tworzenie nowych ofert służących włączeniu cyfrowemu, np. kursów obsługi komputera i Internetu; oraz sprzyjających rozwojowi przedsiębiorstw wprowadzających innowacje w zakresie produktów i usług cyfrowych.Planowana do budowy sieć publicznych dostępu do Internetu w ramach w gminie Wiśniewo zostanie zrealizowana przy pełnym wypełnieniu Wymagań dla WiFi, które stanowi załącznik nr 6 do Regulaminu konkursu. W szczególności bezpłatności dla użytkownika końcowego, wykorzystania technologii szerokopasmowych, prędkości przesyłu danych, jakości oraz możliwości dostępu w miejscach lokalnego życia publicznego, w tym w przestrzeniach zewnętrznych dostępnych dla ogółu społeczeństwa.
