All educational establishments designated for connection will have a capacity of at least 100Mb/s (symmetrical). The main objective of the project is to implement access networks that will be used by telecommunications companies to provide retail services. The applicant will only be a wholesale service provider and the network built within the Project will be made available to all interested retail operators (using operators) on a wholesale access basis. The project assumes the design and construction of broadband Internet network in the Intervention Area, resulting in the maximisation of coverage of the country with modern NGA access networks. Projekt dotyczy budowy na terenie NUTS-3 – podregion piotrkowski (część B), ID: 3.1.10.17b. w powiecie tomaszowskim (zwanym dalej „Obszarem Interwencji”) sieci szerokopasmowej w technologii kablowej (dla gospodarstw domowych oraz jednostek oświatowych) o łącznej długości 807,90 km. W wyniku realizacji projektu 14 913 gospodarstw domowych oraz 34 placówek oświatowych uzyskają dostęp do Internetu.14 913 gospodarstw uzyska dostęp do sieci o parametrach co najmniej 100 Mb/s. Wszystkie placówki oświatowe wskazane do podłączenia uzyskają przepustowość min. 100Mb/s (symetryczne). Głównym celem projektu jest realizacja sieci dostępowych, które będą wykorzystane przez przedsiębiorców telekomunikacyjnych do świadczenia usług detalicznych. Wnioskodawca będzie dostawcą wyłącznie usług hurtowych a wybudowana w ramach Projektu sieć zostanie udostępniona wszystkim zainteresowanym operatorom detalicznym (operatorom korzystającym) na zasadach dostępu hurtowego. W ramach projektu zakłada się zaprojektowanie oraz wybudowanie na Obszarze Interwencji sieci szerokopasmowego Internetu, doprowadzając w efekcie do maksymalizacji pokrycia kraju nowoczesnymi sieciami dostępowymi NGA.
