Planowane przedsięwzięcia obejmuje rozbudowę części bytomskiego systemu ciepłowniczego. Budowa nowych sieci ciepłowniczych ma na celu likwidację źródeł niskiej emisji i będzie dotyczyła przede wszystkim tych odbiorców, którzy stosują do ogrzewania kotły i piece na paliwo stałe. Przedsięwzięcia jest skierowane do odbiorców niepodłączonych do miejskiej sieci ciepłowniczej. Realizacja projektu polega na budowie sieci ciepłowniczej wraz z przyłączami oraz na budowie indywidualnych węzłów cieplnych w poszczególnych budynkach, wraz z niezbędną przebudową istniejącej sieci.
