The subject of the project is to develop an innovative technology that improves the quality of onion cleaning, including the management of post-production waste for energy purposes. The developed technology will be met by an innovative machine significantly improved and innovative on a European scale, which after the completion of the project will be implemented into its own business activity MANAGEMENT BUSINESS AND SERVICE Sp. z o.o.. The idea of developing a machine fulfilling an innovative technological process stems from market demand for the device, as evidenced by the participation in the M&M project, whose business profile focuses, among others, on onion processing. The basic functionalities testifying to its superiority include: Possibility of peeling onions without prior sorting. Machine designed to purify onions in a size range of 45 to 110 mm, regardless of the variety. Low onion weight loss. The developed technology will reduce the loss of post-production waste from 30-50 % to 15-25 %, which will increase the efficiency of peeled onions. Reduce the amount of post-production waste with the possibility of using them for energy purposes. Reduction of burdensome noise during the operation of equipment. Significant reduction of annoying onion odor. Low energy consumption – use of electric motors with increased efficiency and reduction of compressed air expenditure. Reducing the amount of water in further production processes by obtaining a high quality product. Developed technology that will meet the above parameters has been sought for many years on the market by any manufacturer involved in onion processing.     Przedmiotem projektu jest opracowanie innowacyjnej technologii podnoszącej jakość oczyszczania cebuli wraz z uwzględnieniem zagospodarowania odpadów poprodukcyjnych m.in. na cele energetyczne. Opracowaną technologię będzie spełniała innowacyjna maszyna znacząco ulepszona oraz innowacyjna na skalę europejską, która po zakończeniu projektu będzie wdrożona do własnej działalności gospodarczej firmy MANAGEMENT BUSINESS AND SERVICE Sp. z o.o.. Pomysł opracowania maszyny spełniającej innowacyjny proces technologiczny wynika z zapotrzebowania rynku na urządzenie, o czym świadczyć może udział w projekcie firmy M&M, której profil działalności skupia się m.in. na przetwórstwie cebuli. Zasadnicze funkcjonalności świadczące o jej przewadze to m.in.: Możliwość obierania cebuli bez konieczności uprzedniego sortowania. Maszyna przystosowana do oczyszczania cebuli w zakresie wielkości od 45 do 110mm, niezależnie od odmiany. Niski ubytek masy cebuli. Opracowana technologia zmniejszy ubytek odpadów poprodukcyjnych z poziomu 30-50% do 15-25%, co zwiększy wydajność obieranej cebuli. Zmniejszenie ilości odpadów poprodukcyjnych z możliwością zagospodarowania ich na cele energetyczne. Ograniczenie uciążliwego hałasu podczas pracy urządzeń. Znaczące ograniczenie uciążliwego odoru cebuli. Małe zużycie energii – zastosowanie silników elektrycznych o podwyższonych sprawnościach oraz obniżenie wydatku sprężonego powietrza. Zmniejszenie ilości wody w dalszych procesach produkcyjnych poprzez otrzymanie wysokiej jakości produktu.
