The aim of the project is to develop a new generation of high-strength fasteners (large sizes and increased service life) from strongly reinforced aluminium and titanium alloys for high load applications. The project will be implemented in cooperation with a renowned manufacturer of fasteners. The fortification will be carried out by means of large plastic deformations using high pressure hydrostatic pressing methods and pressing through an equiaxial angular channel. The materials thus produced will be subjected to tests of formability and curability based on selected types of fasteners. Fasteners made of strongly reinforced aluminium and titanium alloys will be characterised in microstructural, mechanical, impact and corrosion studies. The properties of manufactured fasteners will be compared to products available on the market. The project will result in the development and implementation of innovative technology of production of high-strength fasteners together with their full characteristics enabling market trade (offering on the market).     Celem projektu jest opracowanie nowej generacji wysokowytrzymałych elementów złącznych (o dużych gabarytach i zwiększonej trwałości eksploatacyjnej) z silnie umocnionych stopów aluminium oraz tytanu do zastosowań przy dużych obciążeniach. Projekt będzie realizowany we współpracy z renomowanym producentem elementów złącznych. Umocnienie będzie realizowane na drodze dużych odkształceń plastycznych metodami wysokociśnieniowymi wyciskania hydrostatycznego oraz przeciskania przez równoosiowy kanał kątowy. Tak wytworzone materiały będą poddane badaniom formowalności oraz skrawalności w oparciu o wybrane typy elementów złącznych. Elementy złączne z silnie umocnionych stopów aluminium oraz tytanu zostaną scharakteryzowane w badaniach mikrostrukturalnych, mechanicznych, udarnościowych oraz korozyjnych. Właściwości wytworzonych elementów złącznych będą porównywane do produktów dostępnych na rynku. Efektem realizacji projektu będzie opracowanie i wdrożenie innowacyjnej technologii produkcji wysokowytrzymałych elementów złącznych wraz z ich pełną charakterystyką umożliwiające handel rynkowy (oferowanie na rynku).
