The subject of the project is the development of an innovative complex biofilter using filling from waste materials, adapted to the treatment and deodorisation of specific process gases (from mechanical-biological treatment of municipal waste, sewage treatment and treatment of sewage sludge and food industry) together with a technical project, which may be the subject of a patent claim. The concept of complex biofilter is an innovative solution, not used on an industrial scale, which allows optimisation of performance and emission reduction effects, while at the same time contributing to better use of waste materials in line with the circular economy model. The combined biofilter is intended to enable: • conducting a two-stage process of purification of process gases (cleaning on a classic biofilter – I degree and purification on semi-permeable membrane fabric – Level II of purification), • technical-exploitation modification of biofiltering on a deposit of waste materials aimed at ensuring optimal process parameters and its effects. • significant reduction in emissions with relatively small investment, • implementation of the concept of industrial symbiosis in line with the Communication of the European Commission of 2 December 2015 on the introduction of the Circular economy. The project envisages the implementation of 6 research phases, three of them will cover industrial research and three further experimental development. The complex biofilter will include individualisation of biofiltration parameters with the possibility of adapting to deodorising specific process gases. The final result of the Project implementation of the developed solution by the Industrial Partner. (English) | |||||||||||||||

W projekcie przewidziano realizację 6 etapów badawczych, trzy z nich będą obejmowały badania przemysłowe, a trzy kolejne eksperymentalne prace rozwojowe. Biofiltr zespolony będzie obejmował indywidualizację parametrów biofiltracji z możliwością dostosowania do dezodoryzacji specyficznych gazów procesowych. Efektem finalnym Projektu wdrożenie wypracowanego rozwiązania przez Partnera przemysłowego. (Polish)
