The subject of the project is to develop and prepare for the implementation of a universal, complementary dressing kit composed of four sub-assemblies protecting permanent injuries. The recipients of the proposed solution will be uniformed services and civil services in the field of medical assistance. The technologies of dressing materials will be adapted to the operational requirements of stage 1 and 2 medical evacuation in the case of the Polish Armed Forces and corresponding levels of field medical assistance provided by other uniformed services and emergency services. The prepared dressing materials will be a complementary set of „dual use” for use in civil and military solutions, in particular in the field of combat, natural disasters and accidents. The proposed dressing subsets shall include: 1) Refrigerated dressing integrated into the bandage, showing haemostatic and bactericidal properties; 2. Resorbable haemostatic non-woven; 3) A tampon used in the supply of gunshot or stab wounds, obtained from modified resorbable fibres with haemostatic properties, ensuring effective tampering of bleeding wounds; 4) tactical stasis, made of plastic with an innovative clamping and release system, allowing for quick and efficient use in critical situations for health and life. Dressings will be able to form an integral part of equipment in the field of medical protection of troops, civilian medical assistance and hospital equipment. The main premise for the proposed kits is to stop bleeding within a minimum of 2-3 minutes and to protect the wound and mortar areas from contamination of micro-organisms.
