Projekt będzie polegał na opracowaniu oraz implementacji modułowego Systemu SmartBRAKE - Inteligentnego Systemu Asekuracji Ruchu i Trasy Roweru, monitorującego oraz zwiększającego bezpieczeństwo jazdy na rowerze dla dzieci i młodzieży. System będzie się składać z połączonych ze sobą modułów funkcjonalnych: a) z modułu hamującego zamontowanego na rowerze dziecka, b) modułu wyzwalającego zdalne hamowanie w postaci opaski na rękę lub przycisku instalowanego na rowerze rodzica, wywołującego akcję hamowania roweru dziecka poprzez przesłanie drogą radiową sygnału do modułu sterowania z którym zintegrowany będzie moduł hamulca, c) modułu sterowania nadzorującego hamowanie, zawierającego układ nawigacyjny oraz inercyjną jednostkę pomiarową, które pozwolą na dokładną estymację aktualnej prędkości jazdy i pozycji geograficznej, d) dedykowanej aplikacji mobilnej (w wersji dla rodzica i dziecka) umożliwiającej konfigurację dopuszczalnej prędkości jazdy dziecka oraz obszaru, po którym dziecko może się poruszać (np. okrąg 150 m od rodzica), e) aplikacji chmurowej (umożliwiającej konfigurację dopuszczalnych stref ruchu, tras na mapie, przegląd statystyk przejazdów dziecka, jego lokalizację i wyświetlanie aktualnych parametrów jazdy).
