Reference number of the aid programme: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose of public aid: Article 25 of EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain types of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L. I'm sorry. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). The aim of the project is to develop a technology for the processing of post-production PET fabric coated with silicone in order to obtain a secondary raw material (regranulate) with increased physical and mechanical properties. Currently, PET fabric covered with silicone is used for the production of airbags in the automotive industry, completely dethroning the production of nylon-cotton fabric, which did not pose a problem with recycling. This solution has several important advantages from the point of view of the cushion itself, but it poses a major problem at the recycling stage of cutting-out material (no alternative to recycling by incineration) due to the fact that PET and silicone are raw materials that do not mix, resulting in inability to process to obtain a homogeneous secondary raw material. Due to the fact that Poland produces more than 50 million cushions per year, large quantities of waste are produced, estimated at around 6 thousand tonnes per year (with a 12 % increase y/y), impossible to process. The BIS granulate design responds to this pressing problem and the possibility of using the resulting regranulate in the production of packaging foil or various plastic components (use in ADG, automotive, etc.). The objective of the project will be achieved by creating a pilot production line allowing for homogenisation of two non-mixed plastics: polyethylene terephthalate – PET and silicone. Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). Celem projektu jest opracowanie technologii przetwarzania odpadu poprodukcyjnego tkaniny PET pokrytej silikonem w celu uzyskania surowca wtórnego (regranulatu) o podwyższonych właściwościach fizycznych i mechanicznych.
