The aim of the project is to purchase research infrastructure enabling the development of new self-adhesive melting adhesives and thermally activated thermoplastic adhesives designed for bonding soft furniture elements. The product innovation will be melt adhesives that can be used in furniture and upholstery industries for bonding a variety of materials: wood-wood joints, wood-foaming, wood-based materials. These adhesives will be characterised by improved performance and application properties (higher mechanical strength, flexibility, durability), ecologicality (receptors without solvents), hygiene (presence of additives increasing the resistance of the adhesive to micro-organisms) and extended functionality – possible wide use not only in upholstery activity, but also flexible combination of a wide range of materials used in furniture. Celem projektu jest zakup infrastruktury badawczej pozwalającej na opracowanie nowych samoprzylepnych klejów topliwych oraz klejów termoplastycznych aktywowanych termicznie przeznaczonych do klejenia elementów miękkich mebli. Innowację produktową stanowiły będą kleje topliwe mogące znaleźć zastosowanie w przemyśle meblarskim i tapicerskim do klejenia różnorodnych materiałów: łączenia drewno-drewno, drewno-pianka, materiały drewnopochodne. Kleje te charakteryzować się będą ulepszonymi właściwościami użytkowymi i aplikacyjnymi (większa wytrzymałość mechaniczna, elastyczność, trwałość), ekologicznością (receptury bez rozpuszczalników), higienicznością (obecność dodatków zwiększających odporność kleju na drobnoustroje) oraz rozszerzoną funkcjonalnością – możliwe szerokie zastosowanie nie tylko w działalności tapicerskiej, ale również elastyczne łączenie szerokiej gamy materiałów stosowanych w meblarstwie. Proponowane kleje poprawią również bezpieczeństwo pracy oraz ekonomikę zużycia kleju. (Polish)
