The aim of the project is to optimise process parameters in relation to the conditions of the actual functioning of the innovative technology for the processing of fabrics with antimicrobial properties. The objectives of the project will be implemented through the second phase, the first stage in the framework of industrial research, and the second stage of development. As a result of the project: • The applicant shall select 3 types of fabrics showing the best performance of – stamina and staining in the washing/apreturation process and characterised by antimicrobial properties resulting in inhibition in min. 90 % increase of two standard strains of bacteria and standard fungus strain according to PN-EN ISO 20743 „Determination of antibacterial activity of finished products with antibacterial finish throughout its lifetime. In addition, for these fabrics the dose of biologically active metals (silver ions and copper) to be used to supplement their concentration in the aprether solution will be determined, which will allow the antimicrobial properties of modified fabrics to be retained in subsequent washing/preturation cycles at a constant level, not less than 90 % of the inhibition of the growth of two standard strains of bacteria and one standard strain of fungus, and • the effect of the use of hospital linen for patients and protective clothing for staff with antimicrobial (antimicrobial and antifungal) ions will be determined on the control of hospital infections in selected hospital wards. SA.41471(2015/X). Purpose of public aid: Article 25 of EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain types of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L. Celem projektu jest optymalizacja parametrów procesowych względem warunków rzeczywistego funkcjonowania innowacyjnej technologii uszlachetniania tkanin o właściwościach przeciwdrobnoustrojowych. Cele projektu będą realizowane poprzez II etapy, I etap w ramach badań przemysłowych, II etap w ramach prac rozwojowych. 90% wzrost dwóch wzorcowych szczepów bakterii i wzorcowego szczepu grzyba wg normy PN-EN ISO 20743 „Wyznaczanie aktywności antybakteryjnej wyrobów gotowych z wykończeniem antybakteryjnym” przez cały okres jej użytkowania.
