The subject of the project is the development of two innovative hybrid materials (composites) with increased fire resistance (in relation to the materials available on the market), with swelling properties in response to the rise in temperature and enriched with an innovative remote detection system. The solutions developed in the project will be covered by patent protection. Composite materials and detection solutions will be used in two main product groups with a swelling cartridge: 1) ventilation grilles, 2) bands and collars. These products will be equipped with interactive marking and detection function and their target fire resistance will reach the level of EI240, which is currently not standard on the market for passive fire protection. New functionalities will significantly improve the safety of people’s health and life and their property. The results of the project will find practical application in the activity of the Applicant, who as a manufacturer will offer on the market a range of products from passive fire protection in all types of construction works (including public utility and collective housing). The business model assumes that the Applicant will be the only producer of such products and the distribution of products will be carried out, among others, by his partner company ALFASEAL GROUP. As INTUSEAL’s development goal is to introduce its own products to the Polish and EU markets, the company plans to obtain CE marking and carry out product testing according to standards: ETAG 026-2 for fire protection bands and flanges, ETAG 026-4 for fire-retardant ventilation grilles. Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). Przedmiotem projektu jest opracowanie dwóch innowacyjnych, hybrydowych materiałów (kompozytów) o podwyższonej odporności ogniowej (w stosunku do dostępnych na rynku materiałów), posiadających właściwości pęcznienia w reakcji na wzrost temperatury i wzbogaconych o innowacyjny system zdalnej detekcji. Opracowane w projekcie rozwiązania objęte zostaną ochroną patentową. Opracowane materiały kompozytowe i rozwiązania w zakresie detekcji zostaną zastosowane w dwóch głównych grupach produktów z wkładem pęczniejącym: 1) kratki wentylacyjne, 2) opaski i kołnierze. Produkty te zostaną wyposażone w funkcję interaktywnego znakowania i detekcji, a ich docelowa odporność ogniowa osiągnie poziom EI240, który nie jest obecnie standardem na rynku produktów do biernej ochrony przeciwpożarowej. Nowe funkcjonalności wpłyną wydatnie na zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa zdrowia i życia ludzi oraz ich mienia. Wyniki projektu znajdą praktyczne zastosowanie w działalności Wnioskodawcy, który jako producent zaoferuje na rynku gamę produktów nowej generacji produktów z zakresu biernej ochrony ppoż. we wszelkiego rodzaju obiektach budowlanych (w tym użyteczności publicznej i budownictwie mieszkaniowym zbiorowym). Model biznesowy zakłada, że Wnioskodawca będzie jedynym producentem takich wyrobów, a dystrybucja produktów prowadzona będzie m.in. przez jego spółkę partnerską ALFASEAL GROUP. Ponieważ celem rozwojowym INTUSEAL jest wprowadzenie własnych wyrobów na rynek Polski i rynki UE, firma planuje uzyskać oznaczenie CE i przeprowadzić badania produktów wg norm: ETAG 026-2 dla ogniochronnych opasek i kołnierzy, ETAG 026-4 dla ogniochronnych kratek wentylacyjnych.
