The project consists of establishing cooperation between PDD PRO Sp. z o. o. and research unit in order to develop ultralight, acoustically and thermally insulating composite panels, with high compressed and bending strength and complying with the strict standard of fire safety EN 45545, for wide use in public transport. They are designed to reduce the risk of fire spreading in rail vehicles and increase passenger protection and maintenance against the effects of firefighting. Once the prototype has been developed, the composite panels will be tested for properties, in particular in terms of reaction to fire, resistance to very high temperatures and the degree of fire spread including fire hazard classification, as well as compliance with the strict fire safety standard (PN-EN 45545-2) in rail vehicles. „Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.42799(2015/X), pomoc_de_minimis: §42 rozporządzenia Ministra Infrastruktury i Rozwoju z dnia 10 lipca 2015 r. w sprawie udzielania przez Polską Agencję Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości pomocy finansowej w ramach Programu Operacyjnego Inteligentny Rozwój 2014–2020”.
