The project shall be entered in point 8.2 of SOBiRII. The aim of the Project is to obtain base oils for refrigerated compressors with improved compatibility with refrigerants – mainly CO2 (not excluding others) – characterised by biodegradability and blendability with mineral oils. The project will cover both industrial research and development. As part of the research of PCC Rokita S.A. (hereinafter: The applicant shall focus on the following 4 directions: 1. Development of PAG oil bases soluble in mineral oils; 2. Improving biodegradability while maintaining a high viscosity ratio above 180 in the range of 20-680 mm²/s at 40st C; 3. Development of refrigerated compressors oils with increased compatibility with refrigerants, mainly CO2 (R-744) (not excluding others) and additives improving the properties of mineral oils; 4. Development of PAG hybrid oil with CO2. The project will be divided into 3 stages: 1. Development of methods of synthesis in laboratory scale, 2. Testing of physico-chemical properties and determining the useful potential of the products obtained, 3. Work on increasing the scale of synthesis processes and application research. The main innovation element at global level will be the synthesis of new hybrid base oils with up to 20 % CO2. Intellectual property is not a barrier to the implementation of the project results. W ramach badań PCC Rokita S.A. (dalej: Wnioskodawca) skupi się na następujących 4 kierunkach: 1. Opracowaniu baz olejowych typu PAG rozpuszczalnych w olejach mineralnych; 2. Opracowanie metod syntezy w skali laboratoryjnej, 2. Badania właściwości fizykochemicznych i określenie potencjału użytkowego otrzymanych produktów, 3. Prace nad zwiększeniem skali procesów syntezy i badania aplikacyjne.
