Project that the Applicant intends to implement – KRONOSPAN Polska (hereinafter: „Company ” „Kronospan") is concerned with the development of low-carbon light particle board by more than 60 % of the recycled raw material. The development of an innovative product will only be possible as a result of the application in the production process of a number of dedicated technological solutions for precise segregation of wood waste and waste wood. In this light, it should be pointed out that by designing and implementing an innovative pilot installation, the Company will start to produce substantially improved products with performance and quality and strength parameters unprecedented among competitors operating, similarly as the Company, on the global market. These products as door and furniture fillings will be characterised by high physical parameters – chemicals, including: share of 60 % recycled raw material, reduced density of 420 ± 20 kg/m³, low emissions of harmful formaldehyde and high strength parameters, thus responding to the demand on target markets (i.e. in the woodworking sector and in the furniture industry). During the development work, the Company will develop individual construction elements of the pilot line (a total of over 11 dedicated technological solutions), and will then integrate all subsystems, obtaining a comprehensive pilot installation. On the basis of the trial production, the Company will confirm receipt of desired process parameters and final products, thus reaching final, IX level of technological readiness.     Projekt, który zamierza zrealizować Wnioskodawca – Kronospan Polska (dalej: „Spółka”, „Kronospan") dotyczy przeprowadzenia prac rozwojowych, których celem jest opracowanie niskoemisyjnej lekkiej płyty wiórowej o ponad 60% udziale surowca pochodzącego z recyklingu. Opracowanie innowacyjnego produktu będzie możliwe jedynie w wyniku zastosowania w procesie produkcyjnym szeregu dedykowanych rozwiązań technologicznych w zakresie precyzyjnego segregowania odpadów drzewnych oraz drewna poużytkowego. W tym świetle należy wskazać, iż poprzez zaprojektowanie i wdrożenie innowacyjnej instalacji pilotażowej, Spółka rozpocznie produkcję zasadniczo ulepszonych wyrobów o cechach użytkowych oraz parametrach jakościowych i wytrzymałościowych niespotykanych wśród konkurentów operujących, analogicznie jak Spółka, na rynku globalnym. Wyroby te jako wypełnienia drzwiowe oraz meblowe charakteryzować się będą wysokimi parametrami fizyko – chemicznymi, w tym: udziałem surowca z recyklingu na poziomie 60%, obniżoną gęstością na poziomie 420 ±20 kg/m3, niską emisyjnością szkodliwego formaldehydu oraz wysokimi parametrami wytrzymałościowymi, odpowiadając tym samym na występujące na rynkach docelowych zapotrzebowanie (tj. w sektorze stolarki otworowej oraz w branży meblowej). Podczas realizacji prac rozwojowych Spółka opracuje poszczególne elementy konstrukcyjne linii pilotażowej (łącznie ponad 11 dedykowanych rozwiązań technologicznych), a następnie dokona integracji wszystkich podsystemów, uzyskując kompleksową instalację pilotażową. Na podstawie przeprowadzonej próbnej produkcji, Spółka potwierdzi otrzymanie pożądanych parametrów procesu oraz produktów końcowych, osiągając tym samym finalny, IX poziom gotowości technologicznej.
