System QNeuro będzie zintegrowanym systemem pracującym w obszarze e-zdrowia, którego główne zadania to: zebranie i prezentacja sygnałów EEG (i video EEG), analiza i wnioskowanie na podstawie sygnałów, przygotowanie i przekazanie informacji zwrotnej dla odbiorców systemu (pacjenci, lekarze) w celu odniesienia do innych przypadków znajdujących się w bazie wiedzy systemu tak, aby na podstawie analizy danego przypadku wesprzeć decyzję lekarza odnośnie proponowanej terapii dla danego pacjenta. System z jednej strony pomoże w redukcji problemów związanych z niejednorodnym i rozproszonym systemem diagnozowania i opieki nad chorymi na padaczkę oraz pozwoli na poszerzenie wiedzy wśród neurologów i neurologów dziecięcych, a z drugiej umożliwi pewnego rodzaju „przeniesienie” diagnostyki i monitorowania postępów w leczeniu padaczki do domu pacjenta. Stanie się to możliwe dzięki elementom systemu: homeEEG / homeVEEG, czyli domowego i prostego w użyciu EEG pozwalającego na przeprowadzenie badania EEG w domu samodzielnie przez pacjenta bez konieczności wizyty w specjalist. przychodni.
