Reference number of the aid programme: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose of public aid: Article 25 of EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain types of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L. I'm sorry. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). As part of the R & D works planned to be carried out in the project, the applicant plans to acquire comprehensive knowledge about the possibility of producing foamable polypropylene. Until now, the requirement to obtain a foam of very good and acceptable quality was the production of the raw material method 2 stage, i.e. first the extrusion stage and successive soak stage with expansion. The 2 stage process itself is difficult and therefore only 7 companies in the world perform it with the Applicant. The applicant has so far focused in its production processes on the development and implementation of the 2 stage method guaranteeing the quality of the product required for the automotive industry, and the next step of the company’s development strategy is R & D work on a cheaper raw material. The process of physical expansion of polypropylene requires calibrating many opposing physical and processing phenomena. The high production regime and narrow areas of ownership of raw materials and processing processes will require the development of a new raw material with a unique recipe and processing process. It will be necessary to develop solutions to many technical-physical and chemical issues arising from the limitations of individual process functions. The applicant has performed certain functions in separate processes for other raw materials, although it now plans to develop this knowledge in order to obtain one cheap production process for polypropylene, characterised by stability and cost-effectiveness. The raw material will complement the offer, the comprehensiveness of which will enable us to compete with other Manufacturers. The lack of cheaper EPPX raw material (acceptable with some applications) causes that the Applicant has to offer only the path of the existing raw material with very high parameters. Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). W ramach prac B+R przewidzianych do wykonania w projekcie, Wnioskodawca planuje pozyskać kompleksową wiedzę o możliwości wytwarzania spienialnego polipropylenu. Proces ekspansji fizycznej polipropylenu wymaga skalibrowania wielu przeciwstawnych sobie zjawisk fizycznych i przetwórczych. Wysoki reżim produkcyjny i wąskie zakresy własności surowców oraz procesów przetwórstwa będą wymagały opracowania nowego surowca o unikalnej recepturze i procesie przetwórczym. Koniecznym będzie opracowanie rozwiązań wielu zagadnień i problemów techniczno-fizyczno-chemicznych, wynikających z ograniczeń poszczególnych funkcji procesowych. (Polish)
