The aim of the project is to develop and implement new technology to create advanced and high-budget games (AAA) taking into account scalability to the power of the target hardware platform. Thanks to the implemented technology, the Applicant will be able to launch the production of innovative and technologically advanced AAA games with first-person view (FPP) – productions created with the involvement of large financial outlays, focused on the high quality of the final product and using advanced technologies. A major technological challenge in the gaming industry is to create scalable technology to create games, i.e. one that is capable of matching ” the world of the game to the hardware capabilities of a given platform. In other words, the creation of very complex and detailed games with photorealistic graphics causes performance problems and poorer quality on weaker technical platforms, while targeting games with the quality of games on weaker platforms results in the untapping of fully stronger devices. In both cases, there is a poorer quality in the end-user reception of products, which significantly affects the ratings and reviews of games and the sale of the games produced (which directly translates into further development of the company). The objective of the project will be achieved by carrying out industrial research and development work on methods of building scalable (to the performance capabilities and parameters of gaming platforms) of the gaming world while maintaining the assumed level of quality of the games produced.     Celem projektu jest opracowanie i wdrożenie nowej technologii do tworzenia zaawansowanych i wysokobudżetowych technologicznie gier (AAA) z uwzględnieniem skalowalności do mocy docelowej platformy sprzętowej. Dzięki wdrożonej technologii Wnioskodawca będzie w stanie uruchomić produkcję nowatorskich i zaawansowanych technologicznie gier typu AAA z widokiem z pierwszej osoby (FPP) - produkcji powstających przy zaangażowaniu dużych nakładów finansowych, nastawionych na wysoką jakość finalnego produktu i korzystających z zaawansowanych technologii. Dużym wyzwaniem technologicznym w branży gier jest stworzenie skalowalnej technologii do tworzenia gier, czyli takiej, która jest w stanie “dopasować” świat gry do możliwości sprzętowych danej platformy. Innymi słowy - tworzenie gier bardzo rozbudowanych i szczegółowych z fotorealistyczną grafiką powoduje problemy wydajnościowe i gorszą jakość na słabszych techniczne platformach, natomiast celowanie z jakością gier w słabsze platformy powoduje niewykorzystanie w pełni mocniejszych urządzeń. W obydwu przypadkach mamy do czynienia z gorszą jakością w odbiorze produktów przez końcowych użytkowników, co znacząco wpływa na oceny i recenzje gier oraz sprzedaż produkowanych gier (co bezpośrednio przekłada się na dalszy rozwój przedsiębiorstwa). Cel projektu zostanie osiągnięty poprzez przeprowadzenie badań przemysłowych i prac rozwojowych nad metodami budowania skalowalnego (do możliwości wydajnościowych i parametrów platform gamingowych) świata gry przy jednoczesnym utrzymaniu zakładanego poziomu jakości produkowanych gier.
