Głównym celem projektu jest ochrona siedlisk grądu subkontynentalnego oraz pozostałych zbiorowisk leśnych zlokalizowanych na zinwentaryzowanym obszarze Nadleśnictwa Spychowo. Sposobem na wykonanie postawionego celu jest ograniczenie występowania czeremchy amerykańskiej występującej na siedliskach wymienionych w Planie Realizacji Projektu. Ten obcy gatunek inwazyjny w drastyczny sposób wprowadza zmiany w dynamice ekosystemu. Cele cząstkowe to: wycięcie czeremchy amerykańskiej na powierzchniach zinwentaryzowanych; opryskiwanie odbijających osobników herbicydem na bazie substancji aktywnej glifosat; posadzenie gatunków fitomelioracyjnych (grab, lipa) w celu zajęcia niszy ekologicznej po czeremsze. Działania swoje motywujemy inwazyjnością biologiczną czeremchy amerykańskiej, czego skutkiem jest utrata siedlisk, jedno z największych globalnych zagrożeń dla zachowania różnorodności biologicznej (Faliński 2004, Namura-Ochalska 2012). W związku z tym udział czeremchy amerykańskiej nie powinien się zwiększać, a wręcz jego obecność powinna być zmniejszana, szczególnie na terenach chronionych takich jak priorytetowy grąd subkontynentalny 9170-2, bory sosnowe reprezentatywne dla Puszczy Piskiej i inne. Ograniczenie jej występowania spowoduje zdecydowaną poprawę stanu zdrowotnego siedlisk, co przyczyni się bezpośrednio do osiągnięcia wskaźników rezultatu i produktu podanych w kolejnym punkcie. The main objective of the project is to protect the habitats of subcontinental and other forest communities located in the inventoried area of the Spushback area.The purpose of this objective is to limit the presence of the American cherry tree in the habitats listed in the Plan for the Implementation of the Project.This alien invasive species makes changes in the dynamics of the ecosystem.The sub-objectives are to:cutting of American cherries in areas where they have been inventoried;spraying of worms with a herbicide based on the active substance glyphosate;planting of plant species (grab, lipa) in order to seize the organic niche after the Czech Republic.The action is motivated by the biodiversity of the American cherry tree, resulting in loss of habitats, one of the greatest global threats to the conservation of biodiversity (Faliński 2004, Namarra-Chalska 2012).As a result, the share of the American cherry should not increase, and even its presence should be reduced, especially in protected areas such as the priority grills of subcontinental 9170-2, pine bubbles representative of the Forest of Piska and others.Limiting its occurrence will result in a significant improvement of the health status of habitats, which will contribute directly to the achievement of the result indicators and the product specified in the following paragraph.
