Předmětem projektu ChemBioDrug je špičkový problémově orientovaný výzkum, jehož účelem je vývoj nových potenciálních terapeutik rakoviny, virových onemocnění a metabolických poruch na principu specifické inhibice tzv. undruggable interakcí biomakromolekul, na které klasická medicinální chemie nedosáhne. Podmínkou je soustředění excelentních kapacit ÚOCHB (Centra) v multidisciplinárním projektovém týmu, jeho další rozvoj, doplnění klíčového vybavení a posílení mezinárodní výzkumné spolupráce. a. ChemBioDrug has been the subject of excellence in problem-oriented research, the purpose of which is the development of new potential therapeutics, viral diseases and metabolic disorders on the principle of ‘undruggable’ interactions of biomolecules that are not achieved by classical medicinal chemistry. It is a condition to concentrate the Centre’s excellence capacities (Center) in a multidisciplinary design team, its further development, the addition of key equipment and the strengthening of international research cooperation.
