Celem prac badawczych planowanych do przeprowadzenia w projekcie jest opracowanie technologii nowego produktu jakim będzie System Identyfikacji Przeszkody. W odniesieniu do najlepszych w skali świata rozwiązań w tym zakresie przygotowywany produkt będzie w stanie zaoferować nowe innowacyjne funkcjonalności. Po zabudowaniu na przejeździe kolejowym system ten umożliwi z wyprzedzeniem na całkowite zatrzymanie pojazdu szynowego przed przeszkodą jaką może być np. uszkodzony autobus, ciężarówka, samochód osobowy czy jakakolwiek inna przeszkoda, która to bez w/w systemu zostanie na 100% zniszczona przez uderzający w nią pojazd szynowy. Zatrzymanie pojazdu ochroni również pasażerów pociągu oraz samego maszynistę. To główna przyczyna uruchomienia prac nad w/w systemem. (Polish)

The aim of the research work to be carried out in the project is to develop the technology of the new product to provide the system for the identification of the damage. For the best global solutions in this area, the product being prepared will be able to offer new innovative functionalities. Once it has been built on the level crossing, the system will allow the vehicle to fully stop the vehicle before the obstacle which can be caused, for example, by a damaged bus, lorry, passenger car or any other obstacle which, without the system, will be destroyed by the offending rail vehicle at 100 %. Stopping the vehicle will also protect the train’s passengers and the driver himself. This is the main reason for the start of the work on the system. (English)
