Projekt obejmie zakup sprzętu nagłaśniającego, oświetleniowego, urządzeń do rejestracji dźwięku i obrazu. Zakupione zostaną również instrumenty muzyczne, które posłużą bezpośrednio do realizacji projektów kulturalnych, takich jak: widowiska muzyczne, koncerty plenerowe, spektakle słowno – muzyczne przy współpracy z innymi instytucjami i organizacjami oraz z udziałem zaproszonych gości. Wysokiej klasy instrumenty niezbędne są do realizacji działań kulturalnych szkoły, promocji kultury muzycznej dla środowiska lokalnego Mielca i województwa podkarpackiego. Celem głównym projektu jest tworzenie warunków do rozwoju oferty kulturalnej poprzez zakup sprzętu i wyposażenia dla Państwowej Szkoły Muzycznej I i II stopnia im. Mieczysława Karłowicza w Mielcu. Cel projektu zostanie osiągnięty poprzez:-tworzenie postaw kreatywnych w społeczeństwie lokalnym – projekt przyczyni się do wykształcenia młodych przyszłych odbiorców kultury;-poprawę dostępu do placówek edukacji kulturalnej (w tym osób niepełnosprawnych);-rozwój kompetencji społecznych i wzrost integracji społecznej poprzez instytucje edukacji kulturalnej i artystycznej, które kształcą obecnych i przyszłych odbiorców kultury.
