Celem projektu jest stworzenie w Centrum Nauki i Techniki w Łodzi nowoczesnej, interaktywnej wystawy, prezentującej dorobek kulturowy ludzkości, w tym naukowy, przy wykorzystaniu skansenu urządzeń elektrowni oraz nowych eksponatów. Wystawa interaktywna przyjmie formę ścieżek dydaktycznych, co pozwoli na uzyskanie synergii działań kulturalnych i edukacyjnych. W ramach projektu powstanie wystawa stała, obejmująca 3 ścieżki: Przetwarzanie energii; Mikroświat-Makroświat; Rozwój wiedzy i cywilizacji. Aktualnie w zrewitalizowanym obiekcie EC-1 Zachód w Łodzi zlokalizowany jest skansen odnowionych zabytkowych maszyn przemysłowych, który zostanie „ożywiony” dzięki realizowanemu projektowi. Realizacja projektu umożliwi efektywne wykorzystanie potencjału dziedzictwa kulturowego miasta Łodzi. Dodatkowo projekt wpłynie na rozwój turystyki kulturowej i biznesowej oraz poprawi sytuację na rynku pracy poprzez stymulowanie przemysłów kreatywnych. Dzięki realizacji projektu planowana jest liczba odwiedzin w wysokości 432 700 osób rocznie. (Polish)

The aim of the project is to create a modern, interactive exhibition at the Centre of Science and Technology in Łódź, presenting the cultural heritage of humanity, including science, with the use of the power plant and the new objects.An interactive exhibition will take the form of teaching paths in order to get synergies between cultural and educational activities.The project will create a permanent exhibition of 3 paths:Energy processing;Microworlds;The development of knowledge and civilisation.At present, the revamped EC-1 West Łódź site in Łódź is a scan of renovated historic industrial machinery that will be “revived” by the project.The realisation of the project will make it possible to make efficient use of the potential of the cultural heritage of the city of Łódź.In addition, the project will contribute to the development of cultural and business tourism and improve the labour market situation by stimulating creative industries.Thanks to the implementation of the project, there are planned visits of 432 700 persons per year.
