Bude vytvořen excelentní mezinárodní výzkumný tým zaměřený na výzkum patogenů z rodu Phytophthora (Chromalveolata, Heterocontophyta, Oomycetes). Prohloubí se poznání globální diverzity, evoluční historie, mechanismů mezidruhového křížení a faktorů adaptability rodu, stejně jako molekulárních mechanismů, ovlivňujících odolnost a náchylnost dřevin vůči chorobě. Unikátní poznatky budou publikovány a použity k řešení praktické ochrany omezující šíření těchto patogenů v přírodních ekosystémech. a. (Czech)

A excellent international research team will be established for research into pathogens of the genus Phytophthora (Chromvesolata, Heteronconjuncture, Oomycetes). Global diversity, evolutionary history, inter-species crossing mechanisms and potential adaptability factors, as well as molecular mechanisms affecting the resilience and vulnerability of the species to the disease will be enhanced. The unique knowledge will be published and used to address the practical protection limiting the spread of these pathogens in the natural ecosystems.a. (English)
