Cílem tohoto projektu je časný záchyt karcinomu prostaty pomocí screeningu PSA vedoucí k včasnému zahájení léčby a eliminaci rozvoje obtížně léčitelného metastatického onemocnění. Současně lze očekávat i snížení mortality. (Czech)

The subject of the present project is the pilot project for early detection of prostate cancer in a group of disabled doctors after cancer. It is therefore a project focused on a clearly defined male population. The aim of this project is early detection of prostate cancer by screening the PSA in order to start treatment early and avoid the development of a reversible metastatic disease. At the same time, mortality reductions can also be expected. (English)
