THE ‘OPEN SPACE 3.0’ PROJECT IS CONCEIVED AS A NEW SPACE FOR LEARNING WHERE THE CLASS BECOMES FLEXIBLE, TRANSFORMED INTO AN ACTIVE RESEARCH LABORATORY USING A STUDENT-CENTRED MODEL. THE ORGANISATION OF THE PHYSICAL SPACE FOCUSES ON PRACTICAL FURNITURE FOR STUDENTS AND FOR TEACHING IN THE USE OF THE HIGH TECHNOLOGIES IN THE COMMUNICATION OF INNOVATIVE METHODOLOGIES BASED ON DIALOGUE AND COLLABORATION BETWEEN TEACHERS AND STUDENTS. THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT ENABLES COS TO BE IMPLEMENTED AS A MODEL OF TEACHING FOCUSING ON YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN OVERCOMING LEARNING PROBLEMS BY INCREASING MOTIVATION AND REDUCING EARLY SCHOOL LEAVING THROUGH INCLUSION AND INTEGRATION. A STRUCTURED COS ENVIRONMENT ALSO PROVIDES THE PUPILS WITH THE SKILLS NEEDED TO ACCESS THE END OF THE FIVE-YEAR CAREER PATH, AS WELL AS POST-DIPLOMA TRAINING AND THE WORLD OF WORK. (English)
