Inwestycja obejmuje budowę światłowodowej sieci szerokopasmowej w standardzie NGA przy wykorzystaniu technologi PON dla gospodarstw domowych oraz jednostek publicznych z obszaru łódzkiego część B. W ramach projektu wybudowanych zostanie 40 "podsieci" światłowodowych, skoncentrowanych wokół tożsamej liczby węzłów dostępowych z koncentratorami OLT. Istotą projektu jest wyeliminowanie terytorialnych różnic w możliwości dostępu do szerokopasmowego Internetu o wysokich przepustowościach poprzez zaoferowanie usług hurtowych świadczonych przy wykorzystaniu wybudowanej infrastruktury dostępowej.
